Following the hugely successful first phase of development at St. Modwen Park Chippenham, which saw two rapidly-growing local businesses expand their operations, we are proposing a third phase of development which will create two modern, sustainable and energy-efficient buildings to help cater for the demands of businesses in the region. This latest phase would not only create a further 170 jobs onsite but would also bring in an additional 210 construction jobs.

This website explains our proposals – and we’d love to hear your feedback.

You can also come and talk to us in-person at our consultation event:

Tuesday 11th July, 3pm – 7.30pm, Union Chapel, Kington Langley, SN15 5NB

Everyone is welcome, so please come along and meet our team.

We look forward to hearing your feedback. Deadline for comments is 20th July 2023.

One of the new customers at the first phase of St. Modwen Park Chippenham, Wiltshire company FurnitureBox. FurnitureBox appears in the Sunday Times’ 100 fastest-growing businesses for the second year in a row.

“With our Chippenham site, we knew it was going to be our biggest warehouse to date, so the need to appeal to local talent was more pertinent than ever. We were impressed by the range of wellbeing facilities on offer in the warehouse space, which we saw would make it easier to recruit the best people. We have amazingly rich local amenities – from the park and fitness trail to outdoor seating areas where people can eat lunch together. We have been able to create hundreds of jobs since opening last year in a space where everyone genuinely enjoys coming to work.”     Huboo, St. Modwen Park Chippenham.

About St. Modwen Logistics

As one of the UK’s leading industrial and logistics developers, we are committed to ensuring that we build sustainable and best-in-class spaces that help to supercharge the growth of our customers.

In 2022, we delivered 2.2million sq ft of prime warehousing space and in total we own and manage a logistics portfolio of 16m sq ft.

However, we aren’t simply developers – we’re community creators, developing legacies for future generations. All our units are built to meet the high standards set out by own very own Swan Standard – a set of guidelines governing the sustainable design, build and maintenance of our portfolio, helping customers to meet their own ESG targets.

As a long-term owner and manager of our buildings and parks, we care about our sites and everyone who uses them, and we work hard to build relationships with our customers, partners and local communities.

    • Our Parks strengthen local economies, bringing much needed jobs and economic growth.
    • Many of our buildings are used as company headquarters and provide a diverse range of jobs.
    • Our Parks enable companies to stay and grow in their local area.
    • At St. Modwen Logistics we don’t just create space and move on. We retain ownership of our parks and buildings for the long-term and work hard to build trusted relationships with our customers and the local community.
    • We work hard to minimise the impact our buildings have on both the visual landscape and the environment.
